High School Friends welcoming Ding Yi

Ding Yi is visiting us in the bay area from Australia.
Ma Jia, Jing Tai, Wu Juan, Li Wenjie, and me are hosting him in the bay area.
On Friday, due to conflict at work, Ding Yi took shuttle to the south bay. After a short fresh-up and communication catchup, we went to AAA for some maps, then the shoreline park in mountain view, and strolled a little on Google campus. Then had dinner at 民俗村 in 欧化广场, and paid a visit at Ranch 99 Chinese grocery store in Milpitas Square.
Saturday, Tai toured him at Standford campus and a local church at day time. Ding was impressed. After stop at Tai and Jia's house, in the evening, there is an "official" welcome dinner at 麒麟阁 in Mountain View :)
Sunday, Ding Yi test drove my SUV to get used to the American driving on the right side, and we left to tour the Half Moon Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Flower Street, China Town, then lunch at Milbrea 福臨閣 before boarding for the rest of his tour around US cities. The tour map is prepared here.
