Welcome Liu Xin in Bay Area

Lin Xin 刘新 visited the Bay Area in a business trip last month.
Classmates in the Bay Area welcomed him at a restaurant 新五饼二鱼 near 99 Ranch 大华超市 at Milpitas, Friday evening 10/20. Pictures will be posted later (whose camera has them?).

Saturday 10/21, Wu Hui, Eric Wu (son of Hui), Liu Xin and me took a one day trip to the Yosemite National Park (web). We arrived after lunch time and had a picnic under a cliff quickly. My plan was to take an easy hike to the mirror lake, that is 2 mile roundtrip taking 1 hour. However, we ends up to the Mist Trail which is 3.4 miles and 3.5 hours. Eric was very good on this strenuous climbing trail. Everyone is hungry afterward. We drove to the Glacier Point after an hour. It is completely dark so we only looked at the lights down the valley and imaged the vista view we could possibly see under the day light. More pictures will be posted later.

We drove back to Hui's house around 11pm that night. Tired and excited.

Next day is Sunday (10/22）. Liu Xin and I planned to have a long ride to tour the 17-mile Drive and the Golden Gate. See this post for details.
