midnight tour of Grand Caverns

Grand Caverns is a commercial cave for 200 years so far. Yes, almost as old as the States.
It was always private owned until recently, denoted to the regional park of four counties in Virginia.

The event organizers are mostly volunteers who did survey on this cave. On Saterday night, I joined the midnight tour led by Craig. The cave has light installed long time ago by GE during the debate of using AC and DC eletricity. The walkway and stairs in the cave is in excellent shape. A lot of splandid rock formations are available for photographers. My digital camera might not completely capture these beauties. Attached include some of my effort.
